Wanted to show comparison between the new cvt oil and 40k cvt oil. left is new and right is old. truthfully, I believe it is best to change oil out every 30k after looking at the old oil.Just a side story for our 18 crosstrek. For example do next oil change at 7,500 miles with oil analysis to ensure oil was still good at 7,500 miles. Use the same oil and filter at each step so you are comparing apples to apples with each oil analysis.
