Mods as a whole for this game are broken and finicky. You have to use Frosty. Vortex or Nexus Mod Manager don't work for the game. Lots of mods are very specific with what they do and don't work with. Make sure they're updated past April 29th, or May 28th if it makes text edits. Delete ModData in BF2's folder as well.
